1. Do I need a doctor's referral to see a physiotherapist?

No. You can book directly with us without a referral. If you are claiming through a third party (such as Workers' Compensation, a Motor Vehicle Accident insurer, or the Department of Veterans' Affairs), additional documentation may be required.
 

2. What happens during my first appointment?

Your physiotherapist will discuss (either in person or via Telehealth) your symptoms, medical history, and goals before completing a thorough physical assessment. We'll explain our findings, provide treatment where appropriate, and develop a personalised rehabilitation plan to help you achieve your goals.
 

3. What should I wear for my appointment?

Please wear comfortable clothing that allows easy movement and access to the area being assessed. For example, shorts are helpful for hip, knee, or ankle injuries, while a singlet or loose-fitting shirt is ideal for shoulder or neck assessments.
 

4. What areas do you service?

We currently provide mobile physiotherapy to our local Dawesville community, visiting patients in their homes, workplaces, aged care facilities, and sporting clubs. If you're unsure whether we travel to your location, simply contact us and we'll be happy to help.
 

5. What conditions do you treat?

We treat a wide range of conditions, including sporting injuries, back and neck pain, joint and muscle injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, balance and mobility problems, arthritis, chronic pain, workplace injuries, and age-related conditions.
 

6. Is Telehealth really free?

Yes. Your initial Telehealth consultation is completely free of charge. During this appointment, we'll discuss your concerns, provide professional advice, and determine the best treatment approach. As part of this service, every Telehealth consultation must be followed by a mobile in-home physiotherapy appointment so we can complete a comprehensive physical assessment and provide hands-on treatment where needed.
 

7. How long does a physiotherapy appointment take?

Initial appointments typically take 30-45 minutes, allowing enough time for a comprehensive assessment and treatment. Follow-up appointments are 30 minutes.
